What you will do
* Assist the Team Manager in effectively running the service and deputise when needed.
* Undertake complex casework and oversee specific projects to ensure families and individuals receive outstanding support.
* Prepare and present comprehensive reports for meetings, conferences, and courts.
* Work within the statutory framework and comply with Directorate policies, ensuring best practices are upheld.
* Promote professional excellence by monitoring and evaluating interventions for improved outcomes.
* Maintain high safeguarding standards for children and vulnerable adults by promptly reporting concerns.
* Provide day‑to‑day professional advice and guidance to team members to ensure service consistency and excellence.
* Contribute to formal supervision of team members and provide direct supervision of staff.
* Mentor staff through development sessions to achieve post‑qualifying awards.
* Keep computer and written records updated to meet Directorate guidelines.
* Chair and participate in meetings regarding service users, ensuring accurate documentation.
* Build effective relationships with external partners and agencies to enhance service delivery.
* Contribute to policy improvements and engage service users through working groups.
* Promote and implement our Diversity, Equality, Equity, and Accessibility policy in all work aspects.
* Ensure a healthy, safe, and secure environment by adhering to organisational policies.
