An outstanding opportunity has arisen to become a key member of the Rural Land Management and Consultancy team in Northallerton.
The team manages Rural Estates and offers professional rural advice. Their technical excellence ensures an impressive client base, including some of the most prestigious clients in the area. The role involves a blend of Estate Management and professional work within a team.
Responsibilities
Key deliverables
* Acting as principal agent for selected estate management clients
* Undertaking estate and farming business reviews
* Handling diversification projects
* Assisting clients with renewable energy projects and development opportunities
* Secured lending and professional valuations
Additional responsibilities
* Managing and leading a sub-team within a larger high-performing team
* Maintaining a strong client base
Key skills
* MRICS qualified rural surveyor with experience across various projects
* Leadership potential and ability to build relationships with clients and generate opportunities
* Calm demeanor to work under pressure
* Good time management and workload prioritization
* Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills for building relationships with team members, colleagues, and clients
* Confident with clients and team members
* Flexible approach to work and hours
* Understanding of confidentiality and discretion
Person specification
Qualifications:
* MRICS qualified, preferably via the Rural pathway
* CAAV membership or qualification is an advantage
Experience
* Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Experience working to deadlines
