Responsibilities
* Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the food hall.
* Managing compliance to processes while bringing passion and flair for shop keeping and customer service.
* Ensuring every customer gets the food they want, helping make us the first choice for food.
* People management: managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
* Assuming overall responsibility for running the store, giving direction and support to the team.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous line management responsibilities in a fast‑paced operational environment.
* Demonstrated customer service excellence and ability to coach a team to the same.
* Track record of delivering KPI’s or other performance indicators.
* Capability to manage disciplinary and employee relations issues.
* Comfortable leading operations alone in the absence of senior management.
* Evidence of consistently improving customer experience through coaching.
* Experience leading teams in a dynamic, customer‑facing environment.
* Leadership experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced setting such as retail, food service or hospitality.
* Proven success in delivering on a wide range of KPIs including sales, stock availability, customer satisfaction and colleague engagement.
* Experience managing complex people matters: performance, absence, and formal employee relations.
