A FMCG business based in Nottingham have a new vacancy for a Project Engineer. You will be responsible to manage projects in accordance with the CAPEX project plan and to ensure all company policies are being adhered to, including Health and Safety in implementation of capital projects.
Key Responsibilities of a Project Engineer:
1. To manage and lead CAPEX projects.
2. Manage small-medium sized projects independently, ensuring safe and efficient project implementation.
3. Keep project documentation up to date as required
4. Budget Management.
5. Monitor and control contractors to ensure safe and effective working, ensuring induction documentation is completed and contractors are controlled.
6. Liaise with the site engineering team to ensure effective communication of project goals and objectives.
7. Communicate project programmes and requirements to the business stakeholders.
8. Keep project stakeholders up to date with project progress.
9. To take charge and implement project mechanical and electrical tasks.
10. To help design machinery and systems including building updates as required
11. To investigate new machinery and technology which could be used throughout the business.
