Our staff members are hard-working, hands-on and committed individuals who are confident at multi-tasking across all stock responsibilities whilst engaging with customers. As Showroom Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in our team, providing expert knowledge and superb customer service whilst liaising with our Trade team and Area Sales & Specification Manager. Key Responsibilities: Serve customers, providing product information and processing sales orders. Offer expert advice and guidance to customers, assisting them in making informed decisions. Creating Customer Quotations and ironmongery schedules for customers Maintain and develop good relationships with suppliers Handle stockroom operations including placing purchase orders, packing orders and organizing stock. Organise product displays, product pricing and price checks Assist with regular stock checks and annual stock takes. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Showroom and Stock holding area. Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by management. Administration tasks related to the everyday running and promotion of the Showroom Manage online sales and improve our on-line presence Requirements: You must be dynamic and highly motivated to work independently. You must be fully capable of taking control of the day-to-day running of the Showroom. Prior experience in the Architectural Ironmongery trade is highly preferable but not mandatory; a willingness to learn and commit to learning the trade and products is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships is essential. You must be comfortable using technology; experience with computerized stock systems is advantageous. Retail experience would be beneficial. You must have an honest, professional and hardworking approach and be highly-organised What We Offer: Competitive salary with Sales Incentives/Bonuses, starting at £24,000.00. Full-time, permanent hours 38 Hours (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4.30 pm, currently with Saturday 8.30-12). Contributory Pension Scheme. 28 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays).
