The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Communications Consultant, equivalent to Account Manager level, to join a collaborative and forward-thinking communications team. This role focuses on supporting projects in the energy sector, particularly in emerging markets. You will play a key part in shaping internal culture initiatives, enhancing employee engagement, promoting health and safety behaviours, and crafting narratives that highlight the sector's contributions to national development.
You’ll be delivering content across a range of channels including internal publications, digital platforms, social media, and traditional media outlets. The position suits a self-starting individual who is a strong writer, organised project manager, and comfortable working with technical topics. Enthusiasm for working in multicultural environments and building lasting client relationships is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate on the development of integrated communications strategies targeting internal and external audiences.
* Foster and manage trusted client relationships, providing day-to-day support and strategic insights.
* Lead on content creation projects, from planning to execution, working closely with design teams to bring ideas to life.
* Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring exceptional standards are met.
* Produce engaging material including articles, web content, social posts, and press releases.
Ideal Profile
* Circa 3+ years' experience in communications or a related field.
* Outstanding writing and editorial skills, with an ability to craft compelling narratives.
* Familiarity with digital communication platforms and social media analytics tools.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on empathy and active listening.
* Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to analyse research and qualitative insights to inform strategy and messaging.
Desirable Attributes
* Experience in energy sector communications or corporate communications.
* Interest in human psychology, behaviour change, or intercultural communication.
* Familiarity with website content management systems such as WordPress.
* Additional language skills (e.g., Arabic, Mandarin) are a plus.

Salary
£35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience.
