Science Teacher – Andover, Hampshire Start Date: October 2025 Contract: Long-Term until December 2025 (with a strong possibility of extension to July 2026) Pay: £165 – £245 per day (dependent on experience) Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm | Full-Time Location: Andover Position Overview An Ofsted-rated “Good” secondary school in Andover is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from October 2025. This is a full-time role running initially until December 2025, with a high likelihood of being extended through to July 2026. For the right candidate, there is also potential for a permanent position. You’ll play a key role in inspiring curiosity and achievement in Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a collaborative and supportive department. What You’ll Be Doing Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, adapting lessons for mixed-ability classes. Planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons that spark interest and foster achievement. Tracking student progress and providing constructive feedback. Promoting a positive classroom culture built on curiosity, respect, and ambition.
