Pentland Biomass is based in Loanhead, just outside the Edinburgh City Bypass.
We are specialists in firewood and forestry.
We are looking for a multi-skilled individual to work in a number of areas around our business. The successful candidate will hold a Class 1 HGV licence and would undertake various haulage jobs both in our yards and around the country delivering woodchip, logs and other products. Ideally the candidate would have experience of timber crane haulage but if not, there would be an opportunity to be trained in this area.
From time to time, they would also operate machinery in our yards including diggers, forklifts and be involved in loading of timber decks.
This is a diverse role with no two days the same and we are looking for a skilled, dynamic individual who is keen to use a range of those skills and learn some new ones too.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
