Senior Solutions Architect Permanent
We are looking to recruit a Senior Solutions Architect for a global technology company. You will work at the forefront of cloud-native data platforms, engaging directly with high-profile defence and secure government clients to solve complex technical challenges.
Experience working in, with, or alongside MOD organisations is essential - as is current security clearance (SC or DV).
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you'll work closely with technical and commercial teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for mission-critical applications. You'll act as a trusted technical advisor to defence and secure government customers, guiding them through modernisation, digital transformation, and adoption of cloud-native technologies.
Partner with account teams to understand customer goals and define solution strategies
Act as a subject matter expert across data platforms, integration, and cloud architectures
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide field insights
Stay current on industry trends including AI/ML, data engineering, and cloud services
Strong background in architecture, software engineering, or technical consulting
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Proficiency in modern programming or scripting languages (e.g. Java, Python, Node.js)
Experience with database platforms or data-centric solution design
Familiarity with DevOps, containerisation, and CI/CD practices
Certifications in cloud platforms or data technologies
