Overview
There are exciting developments in Wirral CYPMHS. We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Assistant Psychologist to enhance and support in CYPMHS Wirral 0-18 around the outcomes for SEND and neurodiversity within primary care. This is a full-time post for 6 months.
Responsibilities
* Provide support within the Wirral 0-18 team, particularly in SEND and neurodiversity outcomes.
* Work independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified psychologist and within the team’s policies and procedures.
* Assist in clinically related administration, conduct audits and collect outcome measures, statistics, and contribute to development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.
* Engage with families, including those with SEND needs and neurodiversity considerations.
Opportunities
* Supervision with a clinical psychologist.
* Data gathering and face-to-face work with families and young people.

* Organisation: Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) NHS Foundation Trust. Services across Wirral, Cheshire and additional locations.
* Interviews planned for Friday 5 September.
* New starters commence in line with the Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date, offering up to 3 weeks of training.
* DBS check required; applicants pay for DBS check with possible DBS Update Service.
