We are looking for a forward thinking, skilled & enthusiastic band 6 Physiotherapist to work within the Early Stroke Rehabilitation Team (ESRT)
This is a specialist multidisciplinary team providing stroke rehabilitation a service to adults within Milton Keynes. The team consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, a psychologist and rehabilitation assistants who provide a goal focused intervention to patients’in theirhome.
Main duties of the job
This post requires a dedicated autonomous physiotherapist with clinical experience in stroke rehabilitation and/or community. The successful candidate will be required to manage a complex caseload in a busy, developing environment. Excellent organisational, communication and team working skills are required for this position, along with the ability to support and train other members of the ESRT.

Working for our organisation
The Neurological Conditions Service (NCS) consists of the Early Stroke Rehab Team (ESRT), the Neurological Rehabilitation Service (NRS) and the Neurological Clinical Specialist Team (NCST).
The teams work in partnership with people who have an acquired or long-term neurological condition and their families and / or carers. They carry out specialist, person centred assessments and work towards meaningful goals, to facilitate independence and promote safety and function. They provide specialist advice, support and education to enhance quality of life and empower people to self-manage their condition.
The teams work alongside their colleagues in health and social care and voluntary services to make sure that care is maintained in the community setting. Their support includes preventing and supporting discharge to and from secondary and tertiary care settings.
