Pay starts from £12.45 per hour and increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.
We will schedule your contracted hours within the availability windows and provide 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility; if your availability times match closely but not exactly to those advertised, we would still love to hear from you. Click here to read more.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; delivering great natural service.
* Being knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Putting into practice training to work safely, effectively, and to serve customers brilliantly.
* Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events to create a great inclusive atmosphere.
* Understanding store performance and the role you play in driving service and sales, reducing waste and shrink, and delivering profit.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
* Being yourself, living Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
* At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
