Your Role and Responsibilities
As a BCBA, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience for our students. Your key duties will include:
* Delivering comprehensive behavior analytic support to middle school students, both directly and indirectly.
* Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to uncover the root causes of challenging behaviors.
* Creating, implementing, and monitoring individualized Positive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on FBA insights.
* Training and supporting school staff in effective behavior intervention strategies and data collection methods.
* Supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices.
* Collaborating with teachers, parents, administrators, and other personnel to foster a consistent approach to behavior management.
* Collecting and analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of interventions and make informed decisions.
* Participating in IEP meetings and other relevant school discussions as a behavior expert.
Your Caseload
* Focus exclusively on supporting middle school students, ensuring tailored interventions that meet their unique needs.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
* Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
* Experience working with school-aged children, particularly at the middle school level.
* A strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and their application in educational settings.
Preferred Qualifications
* Onsite presence is preferred to facilitate direct student interaction and collaboration with school staff.
