Join our client as a Press Operative, with a genuine permanent opportunity following 3 months probation!
Our client are a market leader, with sites throughout the UK - they're looking for candidates who can commit to their training and production and in return a permanent contract offered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate mechanical and hydraulic presses (including progression, tandem, and double-action presses).
* Load raw materials into machines and monitor production.
* Inspect finished components for quality and conformance to specifications.
* Perform basic machine maintenance and report faults.
* Follow health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
* Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in a press shop or manufacturing environment preferred.
* Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
* Good attention to detail and quality awareness.
* Willingness to work shifts if required.
Hours:
