Job Title: Senior Drainage Engineer
Salary: £39,500 per annum
Location: Manchester, Northwest
Job Type: Technical/ Engineering
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm
Job Summary
We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Senior Drainage Engineer to join our client's team. In this role, you'll complete a wide range of services across a mixed commercial, residential & retail portfolio in the Northwest.
Key Responsibilities
* Responding to reactive drainage callouts including blocked drains, toilets, sinks, and external drainage systems.
* High pressure water jetting to clear blockages and maintain drainage systems.
* Carrying out CCTV drain surveys to identify faults such as collapses, root ingress, or blockages.
* Drain repairs and maintenance, including patch lining, pipe repairs, and minor excavation works.
* Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on drainage systems across commercial and residential sites.
* Working on internal and external drainage systems, including stacks, soil pipes, manholes, and underground pipework.
* Diagnosing drainage faults and recommending repairs to clients or management.
* Completing reports and job sheets following surveys, repairs, or maintenance work.
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely, including working in confined spaces and following health & safety procedures. xxuwjjq
* Liaising with clients or site managers while on site to provide updates on works being carried out.
Requirements
* City & Guilds Level 2&3 in Plumbing – Desired
* HPJW Ticket
* X2 References
* 5 years' experience in a similar position
* Clean UK Driver's License
* Right to work in the UK
