WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
Empowered Personnel is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established operation based in Old Dalby.
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,396 – £27,000 per annum DOE
Location: Old Dalby, LE14
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:00
Important Information
Successful applicants will be required to complete the following checks:
•A 5-year employment/identity history check
•A DBS check
Key Responsibilities
•Unload inbound shipments and move products to designated storage locations
•Pick and prepare products for dispatch, ensuring correct quantities and items are shipped
•Carry out picking duties efficiently while meeting customer service standards
•Operate barcode scanners to ensure accurate order picking and inventory control
•Assist with physical stock counts and ensure correct stock rotation
•Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage, reporting any quality issues
•Maintain a clean, tidy and orderly warehouse environment
•Carry out other general warehouse duties as required
Skills & Qualifications
•Previous warehouse experience
•Strong teamwork and communication skills
•Good organisational and time-management abilities
•Experience with inventory control
•Confident using barcode scanners
•Counterbalance and/or Bendi FLT licence (desirable but not essential)
