Facilities Manager (Leisure Services) - Sheffield
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30. Some flexibility on hours available; please discuss this during your application.
Responsibilities
As a Facilities Manager (Leisure Services), you will support the Sheffield Schools team in delivering comprehensive leisure services across various sites, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
1. Manage and organise leisure centre operations to meet service aims and objectives.
2. Ensure legal and health & safety compliance across all leisure services.
3. Establish and control income and expenditure budgets.
4. Train all employees to meet mandatory and statutory standards.
5. Report any statutory or critical plant failures that could pose health and safety risks.
Candidate Requirements
This role is ideal if you:
* Have previous experience in the Leisure Services industry.
* Hold a full driving licence and possess a solid understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
* Have at least two years' experience in a similar role, with knowledge of building maintenance on multi-building sites.
