Location: Bedford, Central Bedfordshire (On-site); also Biggleswade, Leighton Buzzard and Luton.
Salary: £29,355 per annum. Contract type: Permanent. Full‑time, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

Title: Blended Team Service Manager. Post No: 659. Working base: Biggleswade CMHT (Community Mental Health Teams) SG18. Area covered: Bedfordshire, Luton.
About the Service and the Role
This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the daily operations of our Blended Teams in partnership with the NHS, VCSE and community groups. It involves multi‑agency collaboration, overseeing a core team of workers, and ensuring the service meets community needs and blended team outcomes.
Key Responsibilities and Service Delivery
* Operate a service and ensure outcomes for individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs in line with Mind BLMK’s blended team model and contract requirements.
* Collaborate with the Operational Services Manager (Blended Teams) and senior managers to manage an effective workforce, including recruitment and performance management.
* Ensure complex partnerships and remote teams are effectively managed, building relationships and facilitating multi‑agency working.
* Engage service users, volunteers and staff on local service delivery, organisational matters and wider mental health strategies.
* Assess suitability for community connection support and enable individuals to access services using local voluntary and community networks.
* Co‑create plans to address mental health and wellbeing goals, facilitating access to appropriate resources.
* Accompany individuals to community resources when needed.
* Support people to build confidence, overcome fears and address barriers to participation.
* Take a holistic approach, considering determinants of health such as debt, housing, employment, loneliness and caring responsibilities.
* Work as part of an integrated team to achieve the best outcomes for service users.
* Maintain workforce effectiveness in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, including recruitment, line management and development of crisis, peer support workers and volunteers.
* Hold responsibility for health and safety, data collection and cash handling in line with Mind BLMK policies.
Key Qualifications
* Experience managing diverse staff resources and multi‑agency working.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience working with people with mental health and managing remote teams.
* Level 3 Social Care (or equivalent).
* Management and Leadership qualifications desirable.
