Overview: As the Product Manager / Product Owner for Self-Serve and Digital Experience, you will lead the strategy, development, and delivery of NexGen's digital customer journeys - from discovery and onboarding through to ongoing engagement. You will be accountable for building seamless, high-converting digital experiences that are secure, compliant, and scalable, while progressively modernising and integrating legacy systems into a future-ready platform. With a core focus on their Self-Serve capabilities for their customers. This is a hands-on role for a product leader who thrives in fast-paced, venture environments and is passionate about solving real customer problems through great digital experiences. Core responsibilities: Own the roadmap and delivery of NexGen's self-serve and D2C digital journeys across web and mobile. Ensure seamless end-to-end customer journeys with a clear focus on conversion, usability, and engagement. Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritised backlogs. Lead agile delivery cycles, working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases. Digital Transformation & Platform Evolution Drive the modernisation of legacy systems, integrating them into scalable, customer-centric digital platforms. Define and deliver API-led, modular solutions that support future growth and innovation. Select and collaborate with internal and external engineering partners to deliver robust technical solutions. Customer Experience & Design Partner closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, accessible, and best-in-class digital experiences. Champion customer-centric design principles, grounded in research, testing, and behavioural insight. Ensure digital journeys meet accessibility standards and deliver a consistently high-quality experience. Data, Insight & Optimisation Use data and analytics to track product performance, customer behaviour, and conversion funnels. Run continuous test-and-learn cycles to optimise journeys and improve customer outcomes. Define and track KPIs including conversion, drop-off, engagement, and customer satisfaction. Skills & Experience needed Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager or Senior Product Owner within financial services, fintech, or a regulated digital environment. Experience of working on any Products with a Self-Serve capability will be highly beneficial for this role. Strong experience delivering D2C digital products with measurable commercial impact. Demonstrable experience modernising legacy systems and delivering digital transformation programmes cutting through complexity. Solid technical understanding of software development, APIs, integrations, and modern digital architectures. Deep understanding of customer-centric design and digital experience best practices across web and mobile.
