As a KS2 Intervention Teacher – Camden, you will deliver targeted interventions in Year 5 and Year 6, focusing on raising attainment in English and Maths and preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments. The school places strong emphasis on high-quality education and training, ensuring that staff are supported through CPD and leadership guidance. The successful KS2 Intervention Teacher – Camden will work closely with the class teacher and SLT to analyse data, identify gaps, and implement structured support programmes. What you’ll be doing:
1. Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions in KS2
2. Using assessment data to identify learning gaps
3. Planning targeted lessons to boost SATs readiness
4. Monitoring progress and reporting to SLT and parents
Essential skills & experience:
5. QTS and experience teaching in KS2
6. Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
7. Experience delivering successful intervention programmes
8. Ability to build pupil confidence and raise attainment
