What we need We are currently looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join our team and support students within our community, supporting them in their learning and communication. The successful candidate can join a team of incredibly caring, forward-thinking staff, committed to providing the highest quality education for our enthusiastic learners, supporting positive outcomes for all. The main duties of the role are: • Curriculum support – support pupils’ learning as directed by the teacher. • Support for pupils – activities, physical care, personal care, pupil supervision. • Support to teacher – assist with day to day management of the learning environment, equipment, hygiene, displays, behaviour. Liaise with families. • Professionalism – follow all school procedures, actively work towards safeguarding children and young people, engage with school communication systems, maintain professional conduct, contribute and uphold the ethos and values of the school.
