Overview
We are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work within a SEND School in Maidenhead. This school is located in the Maidenhead area and has a warm, caring and vibrant environment which provides support and challenge to ensure that all students, regardless of their starting points, achieve well to go on and lead happy and fulfilled lives.
The Role
* Support a child with their learning and development as a SEND Teaching Assistant
* Contribute to creating a safe, supportive & engaging learning environment
* Work with children of various learning difficulties, 1:1 or in small groups, and assist the class teacher
* Build a close bond with the child to ensure they feel comfortable both inside & outside the classroom
* Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure the progress of students is prioritised
Responsibilities
* Support ongoing learning and development for a SEND student
* Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
* Available Immediately, Mon-Fri, 8:30am to 3:30pm
* Must have a CHILD ONLY DBS or be willing to obtain one
* Experience with children in some capacity and be able to provide a reference
* Live local to Maidenhead or within a commutable distance
