JOB DESCRIPTION
Ecolab, Pest Division are looking for a Key Account Manager. The objective of this position is to win new contract sales in the F&B and Pharmaceutical sectors, and all other business sectors between SME and Corporate level clients. It is also responsible for managing an existing F&B client portfolio. The position is a direct report to the Head of Key Accounts and responsible for generating in excess of £250,000 in new contract sales per year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To prospect new contracts in the F&B and Pharmaceutical sectors, and all other business sectors between SME and Corporate level clients.
2. Manage and grow existing F&B and Pharmaceutical accounts that are allocated to your portfolio.
3. Develop sales plans to ensure a consistent approach to cold calling, new quotes and sales pipeline management.
4. Benchmark and understand market trends and their effect on the selling process.
EXPERIENCE:
5. 5 plus years of proven sales experience preferably in B2B and/or the service industry.
6. Able to demonstrate success and experience managing major account customers and contracts, particularly achieving sales development.
7. Possess the ability to research and source brand new contacts.
8. Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.
9. Must have the ability to present at levels ranging from the shop floor to board level.
10. Previous pest industry experience is desirable.
