Location: Stafford Campus (with requirement to work at other campuses/sites as required). Salary: £39,355 to £55,755 Per Annum (Maternity Cover). Release Date: Tuesday 07 April 2026. Closing Date: Tuesday 21 April 2026. Reference: HEPS31-26.
About The Role: An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified Paramedic to join the Paramedic Teaching Team on a fixed-term basis for 12 months covering parental leave. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced academic team to support the development and delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences for our students. During this period, they will also gain valuable experience in learning, teaching and assessment, providing a strong foundation for a future career in education.
The School of Health, Education, Policing & Sciences at University of Staffordshire has an exciting portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a strong history of paramedic education. We are keen to recruit excellent lecturing staff to support our paramedic provision. You will join a well-established team with a wealth of experience clinically and academically. The school is highly interdisciplinary in nature, and a great place to develop a distinctive academic portfolio. Additional Desirable Skills
* Experience of working in primary care or advanced clinical practice.
* Teaching in a Higher Education setting
* Experience of research and writing for publication.
