Your Role as an Assembly Technician:
You will be site based in Newcastle-under-Lyme and will be responsible for the testing, service, and build of bespoke scientific and laboratory equipment.
Utilising your previous experience and ongoing training, you will be ensuring that systems are correctly working.
Testing electronic and mechanical systems, as well as magnets and ion sources
Wiring and assembling instruments
Acceptance testing before shipping to customers across the world
Working as part of an experienced team you will be supported and will become a valued member of the company.
16 - 20 hours per week with flexibility to split across 2-, 3-, 4-, or 5-days, Mon - Fri.Ideal background for the Assembly Technician Position:
You need to have strong electromechanical assembly experience and a genuine practical interest.
Ideally you will have experience reading engineering / technical drawings and schematics.
Strong eye for detail, great practical, technical & problem-solving ability.
Experience with soldering, crimping, and mechanical assembly.
A genuine interest in the world of science, labs and electronics engineering.
Able to commute daily to the Newcastle-under-Lyme facility daily.
Right to work in the UK indefinitely as sponsorship won't be provided.
