About the role
We’re looking for an Events and Partnerships Coordinator to join our team at our Darlington office. This is a new role introduced as the business continues to grow. You’ll play a key part in delivering our events programme, both online and in person, and work closely with our professional partners to ensure strong, meaningful relationships.
You will report to the Events and Partnerships Lead, but will be embedded across the business, and act as the go-to person between events and the marketing team. Your core responsibilities will include:
* Managing and hosting webinars, including end-to-end event management
* Responsible for delegate liaison – bookings, queries, follow-up – and ensure world-class delegate event experience
* Liaising with speakers and partners – managing/creating visual content (i.e. slides)
* Help to plan and shape our event programme – looking at feedback and suggested themes and topics.
* Managing all technical/AV support – for both online and in-person events
* Venue management, including sourcing, liaison and logistics
* Bringing energy and creativity to keep our events fresh and engaging
About you
Experience in events or marketing is essential for this role. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about planning and organising standout events, that run smoothly and leave a positive impression.
Some of the key attributes we’re looking for are:
* Comfortable working independently, as well as part of a cross-functional team
* Exceptional organisation skills – someone who sweats the small stuff and is unphased managing a number of events and deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Confident and personable manner who is comfortable facilitating conversation – the perfect event host!
* Work ethic and personality that matches the Verve culture
Bonus points if you have:
* Familiarity with online event platforms like Teams and TicketTailor
* A creative eye for improving how events are presented or promoted
