Role: Paralegal. Team: Charities. Location: Bristol or Exeter (Hybrid working). Working Pattern: Full-time.

Responsibilities
* Provide essential administrative and PA support to a senior lawyer, including diary management
* Support compliance and file-opening formalities
* Manage and organise files to ensure proper folder and document structures are maintained
* Assist with financial processes, including cost management and monthly invoicing
* Update estate accounts with key asset and liability information
* Assist with applications to the probate registry
* Liaise with clients and beneficiaries to provide updates and respond to enquiries
* Ensure timely handling of correspondence
* Learn on the job about the legal and tax concepts that underpin probate and charity legacy work, and assist in providing high-quality legal advice to clients
* Maintain sensitivity to the charity’s reputation and brand in all communications
Qualifications
* Experience in a legal environment (probate or estate administration preferred, but not essential)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
* A proven track record of completing tasks accurately and on time
* Confident IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Great time management and organisational ability
* A flexible, collaborative approach and a commitment to outstanding client service
