Job Title: Band 5 Physiotherapist

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, extending to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a shift pattern from Monday to Friday, totaling 37 hours per week.

Role Overview

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. You will be providing assessment, treatment, and intervention to older adults and disabled individuals with multiple conditions. These services are delivered in clients' homes and communities, focusing on maximizing independence and delivering person-centred care. The service area includes North West Glasgow City.

Key Responsibilities

* Promote independence, self-management, and support hospital discharge to prevent admissions.
* Supervise support workers and students.
* Contribute to service development initiatives.
* Work collaboratively with other Allied Health Professionals and nursing staff to achieve person-centred goals.

Qualifications and Experience

* Chartered physiotherapist registered with HCPC.
* Experience in an interdisciplinary team environment is preferred.
* Experience in neurology or older persons' care is desirable but not essential.

Additional Requirements

This community-based role requires working across various locations in North West Glasgow City, so a full driving license is essential.
