Location: Grampian Primary Academy, Grampian Way, Derby DE24 9LUHours: 30 hours per week, Afternoons noon - pm Monday – Friday with the opportunity to expand to mornings in the future. Contract type: Permanent, Term Time only, 39 weeks a year Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and well-being? Would you like to help shape a vibrant, nurturing wraparound care service in a school where every child is valued? Grampian Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Wraparound Care Co-Ordinator to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will work closely with teachers to support children’s learning in the classroom and lead our wraparound care provision before and after school. About the Role • Support classroom learning, resource development, and intervention sessions. • Lead, organise and supervise engaging wraparound care sessions. • Foster a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for all children. • Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff. • Oversee administration, snack provision, and creative play activities. • Supervise Wraparound Care Playworkers and ensure high standards of care. About You • Hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare or education and at least Level 2 in Maths and English. • Experienced in working with children within educational or childcare settings. • Organised, creative, positive, and able to inspire and motivate young children. • Committed to safeguarding, inclusive practice, and upholding the values of our school.
