Key Responsibilities of the Sales Ledger
1. Accurately process and post customer invoices, credit notes, and receipts.
2. Reconcile customer accounts regularly to ensure balances are correct and up to date.
3. Monitor outstanding debts and assist in the collection of overdue payments in line with company credit control procedures.
4. Investigate and resolve customer account discrepancies promptly and professionally.
5. Maintain up-to-date records of all customer transactions, including cash, cheque, and electronic payments.
6. Prepare statements and support month-end reporting requirements.
