Junior Sales Manager (Training Provided) – Birmingham (Full-Time, On-Site)

Your First 12 Months – Structured Career Progression
Month 0 to 6: Hands-On Leadership Development
You will begin by learning how to lead from the front while developing your own performance and supporting a small sales team.
Key focus areas include:
* Leading daily sales activity and setting the standard for performance
* Supporting and guiding team members through day-to-day objectives
* Monitoring individual and team targets
* Delivering basic coaching and feedback through structured support
* Understanding campaign delivery and client expectations
Month 6 to 12: Business & Operational Development
As your leadership ability develops, you will gain exposure to the wider business functions that support growth.
Key focus areas include:
* Understanding budgeting and financial awareness within campaigns
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and team development
* Gaining insight into compliance, reporting, and business administration
* Assisting with scaling team performance and campaign growth
Month 12+: Campaign Ownership & Management
At this stage, you will be working towards full responsibility for a campaign.
Key focus areas include:
* Managing campaign performance and delivery independently
* Overseeing client relationships and expectations
* Taking ownership of targets, results, and team output
* Contributing to expansion plans and new market opportunities
Training, Development & Support
* One-to-one coaching and mentorship from senior management
* Access to a structured development platform with over 100 hours of management training modules
* Daily and weekly performance reviews to support progression
* Clear progression pathway based on performance metrics and leadership ability
* Ongoing support from an experienced leadership team
Why This Role Exists
Sage Associates is expanding into new markets across the UK, including Milton Keynes, Leicester, and Newcastle. To support this growth, we are developing managers internally who can take ownership of new locations or lead established teams.
Progression within this role is based on results, consistency, and leadership capability, not tenure.
