About the Role:
As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Music lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, covering music theory, composition, performance, and music history. This role requires the ability to develop and adapt resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring all students are engaged and challenged. You will assess and monitor student progress through performances, compositions, written assignments, and practical assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback. Ideal Candidate:
You should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music, demonstrating a strong understanding of music theory, composition, and performance practices. Proven experience in teaching music at the secondary level is essential, with a track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons. Excellent communication and organizational skills are crucial, as is the ability to inspire and motivate students to explore their musical talents. You should be proficient in playing at least one musical instrument and have a broad knowledge of musical genres and styles.
