I am supporting a busy and supportive school in Nottingham who is looking for a confident and weing School Receptionist to join their team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Greeting visitors, parents, and pupils with a warm and professional manner
2. Managing the reception desk, overseeing sign‑in procedures, and issuing visitor passes
3. Answering calls and responding to email enquiries, directing messages to the correct staff
4. Coordinating appointments and supporting with basic diary management
5. Handling post, deliveries, and general front‑desk organisation
6. Providing light administrative support to the office where needed
7. Maintaining confidentiality and following safeguarding procedures at all times
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
8. Previous experience working as a receptionist within a school environment
9. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
10. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy setting
12. Good IT skills and a professional, reliable approach
