We are currently recruiting for a Senior Marketing & Communications Executive to join our in-house Marketing Team at Waterman Aspen. You'll be part of a friendly and collaborative team supporting the day-to-day running of the marketing and communications function, helping to shape our brand and tell the Waterman Aspen story internally and externally.
Your Career with Waterman Aspen..
* Supporting the management of, and publishing content on the company's social media presence - that currently includes X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
* Creation of graphics to post using our suite of assets and images
* Tracking, measuring, and reporting on the effectiveness of the company's digital presence
* Getting involved with planning events and attending exhibitions to represent the company
* Working on our company intranet posting news updates and developing new pages
* Liaising with internal stakeholders and people of all levels across the business
* Managing the Marketing inbox and completing requests and tasks that come in
* Updating Planner to ensure all work is posted and tagged to team members
* Collating new content for the website
* Drafting news updates for publishing
* Involvement in the development of the company marketing & communications plan
* Assisting with the compilation of e-newsletters/emails using Mailchimp and Foleon (online newsletter)
* Administrative tasks relating to charity fundraising and Waterman Aspen in the Community work
Experience Required..
Essential:
* Knowledge and experience of working within an established marketing team or an agency background
* Strong editorial, copy writing and proof writing skills
* Solid knowledge of best practice for crafting internal and external communications
* Graphic design experience
* Experience in working with a suite of branded assets
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated experience in writing for the web and managing social media (with sensitivity and an understanding of different audiences and subject matter).
* Strong editorial skills, with experience of editing content for digital publication and distribution.
* Experience of posting to web (WordPress or similar).
* Experience of digital communications campaigns.
* A confident telephone manner.
* Self-motivation.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.(home working with regular team meet ups)
Desirable:
* Degree qualification (preferably in Marketing, Media or Communications)
* Adobe design software - Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
* Photo/video editing.
* Website experience (WordPress).
* SharePoint knowledge
* Experience of working in all elements of a busy marketing and communications team
* Knowledge of UK Engineering or Infrastructure sectors would be advantageous but not essential
