Teaching Assistant
Milk Education are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive KS1 team for the summer term. The role will focus on supporting targeted interventions, small group learning and delivering RWI (Read Write Inc.) phonics sessions to help all children reach their full potential.

They are looking for a proactive and reliable Teaching Assistant who can support pupils’ progress, contribute positively to the school community and help maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions for KS1 pupils
2. Support RWI phonics teaching and reinforcement
3. Assist the class teacher with planning and implementing learning activities
4. Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers
5. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Teaching AssistantSkills & Experience:
6. Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in KS1
7. Knowledge of RWI phonics is essential
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to motivate and engage children in learning
10. Patience, reliability, and a proactive approach
