Overview
Due to continued growth, we are seeking both experienced Site Managers and Site Engineers to join our team and contribute to a variety of projects across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled professionals looking to play a key role in delivering high-quality construction projects. Key Responsibilities
Site Surveying & Setting Out (for Site Engineers):
* Perform accurate site surveys, set out works, and level using total stations, GPS, and other surveying equipment.
* Ensure the correct implementation of construction designs and plans in the field.
Engineering Support & Quality Assurance (for Site Engineers):
* Provide technical expertise to ensure construction works align with design specifications and project requirements.
* Oversee site activities to maintain compliance with project plans, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
Site Management & Coordination (for Site Managers):
* Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Implement and uphold health and safety policies and UK construction laws, ensuring a safe working environment.
Problem-Solving & Reporting (for Both Roles):
* Identify potential issues and implement solutions to avoid project delays or disruptions.
* Keep detailed site records, including daily progress reports, as-built drawings, and material tracking.
Health & Safety Compliance (for Both Roles):
* Actively monitor and enforce UK health & safety regulations, conducting regular safety checks.
* Take immediate corrective actions if safety hazards are identified.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering (for Site Engineers).
* 5 to 10+ years of experience in a site management or engineering role within the UK construction industry.
Technical Skills (for Site Engineers):
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, GPS surveying, and relevant engineering software.
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies and technical specifications.
Certifications:
* A valid CSCS card is required for both roles.
* Site Managers must have SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or equivalent certification.
Soft Skills (for Both Roles):
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work both independently and as part of a team.
Driving License:
* A full UK driving license is required for both roles.
