WHAT TO EXPECT:
In this mechanical / electrical role, you will have the opportunity to join a highly skilled and dynamic maintenance team and contribute to maintaining world-class facilities to maximize manufacturing efficiencies. You will provide first-line engineering maintenance support to a local maintenance operational team in FA2 Trim & Final Assembly Operations and support Solihull ASRS when required. This role will also support the team in adhering to standards and processes, roles and responsibilities, ensuring the highest delivery standards are achieved. The individual will participate in problem solving, delivering root cause analysis to ensure sustained improvements in business performance.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
* Assist your maintenance team in recovering from complex breakdowns, acting as the Mechanical Electrical Engineer under the Maintenance Group Leader.
* Participate in scheduled maintenance, breakdown response, lean improvements, and permanent fixes, focusing on bottlenecks/constraints.
* Analyze performance data and create plans to improve facility uptime through effective root cause analysis.
* Complete and document Preventive Maintenance inspections on assigned lines as directed by the maintenance leadership team. Recommend and implement continuous improvements on equipment/systems design.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* A relevant Level 3 qualification in Engineering.
* Experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer.
* Experience with roller beds, drop sections, and conveyor systems.
* Familiarity with high-speed automation and some experience working with robotics such as ABB.
