Teaching Assistant – Outstanding 2-Form Entry Primary School – NW9
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am–3:30pm | Term Time Only
Start Date: ASAP or Easter Start Available
Pay: £105–£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role in a supportive, Outstanding primary school? We are recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded 2-form entry primary school in NW9, North West London.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
* Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions
* Assist pupils with SEND, EAL, or additional learning needs
* Help prepare classroom resources and maintain an engaging learning environment
* Support phonics, reading, writing and numeracy interventions
* Promote positive behaviour and safeguard pupil wellbeing
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO and senior leadership
Requirements:
* Have prior experience working in a primary school (essential)
* Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (UDS) OR be willing to obtain one
* Be confident supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
* Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
