Accounts Manager / Partner Designate – Wrexham – To £58,000, flexi-time, hybrid, onsite parking, genuine route to equity/partnership
Vaisto Recruitment is partnering with a well‑established, independent practice based in Wrexham in the search for a Partner designate.
The firm offers the stability, client base and technical depth you’d expect from a mature firm, but with the autonomy, influence and work‑life balance that are increasingly hard to find in larger, more corporate environments.
You will be joining as a senior, client‑facing leader, with a clear succession plan. This is a rare opportunity to move from Manager/Senior Manager into a true partner designate position, without having to bring a client following, or build a client base from scratch.
You will have strong post‑qualification experience, and a solid general practice background, covering accounts, tax and advisory for OMB’s/SME’s.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the partner, contributing to business strategy and decision‑making once established in the role.
* Train and mentor junior staff members and review the work produced by the team.
* Manage client relationships and build new and existing client relationships.
* Control workflow, ensuring accounts and tax returns are produced to a high standard, on time and within budget.
* Have an interest in business development and networking.
* Contribute to process improvement, technology adoption and quality standards.

Essential Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified, with PQE in a management role in general practice.
