Manufacturing Machine Operator - Global Brewing Company

Acorn by Synergie is looking for Manufacturing Machine Operators to join a global brewing company. This is a temporary long-term position offering a structured shift pattern and competitive pay with opportunities for overtime.
Key Duties:
* Operate packaging equipment to ensure finished goods meet quality, timing, and cost requirements.
* Undertake daily, weekly, and monthly routine tasks with attention to detail.
* Comply with all statutory, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
* Follow packaging and food hygiene regulations, including HACCP.
* Maintain housekeeping, cleaning, and 5S standards.
* Perform basic asset care requirements for all machinery.
* Support improvement activities to achieve departmental KPIs, including PI tracking and Short Interval Control (SIC).
* Attend training to develop new skills and perform packaging-related tasks as directed.
* Participate in meetings and briefings as required.
* Ensure internal customer requirements are consistently met.
Requirements:
* English and Mathematics Standard Grades or equivalent.
* Packaging or engineering qualification preferred.
* Packaging or engineering experience advantageous.
* Ability to work in a team and follow agreed ways of working.
* Willingness to learn and undertake upskilling as required.
Shift Pattern & Pay:
* Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am).
* Hourly Pay:
o £15.07 per hour (first 12 weeks)
o £18.56 per hour (week 13 onwards)
o £20.62 per hour (week 39 onwards)
* Overtime:
o £30.93 per hour for hours over 48 between 7am Monday and 7pm Friday
o £41.24 per hour for hours over 48 between 7pm Friday and 7am Sunday
