The appointment aims to ensure high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of the Acute Medicine service. The role involves providing support and leadership to nursing and medical staff within the department.
The Acute Physicians will supervise junior staff, provide post-take care for patients on AMU, and conduct senior reviews for patients in Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and Windsor Short Stay (WSS). Relocation costs will be considered according to Trust policy, available upon request.
The successful candidate is expected to contribute to ongoing service improvement initiatives, including:
* Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT)
* Cost Improvement Programme (CIP)
* Implementing evidence-based new ways of working
