I am working with a thriving, vibrant and caring secondary school based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire who require a full time History Teacher on a Long term contract. The position is to start asap until July 2026 with a view to go permanent for the right candidate. Are you Qualifying as a History Teacher this Year and looking for your Induction year to be supported in a Good School?
This school is a multicultural secondary and is graded 'Good' by Ofsted. The school is highly regarded in the area and year on year has one of the highest application rates of any school in the area.
Responsibilities
* Teach History up to Key Stage 4.
* Work with the Head of Humanities and the History Teaching team to settle into the school with support.
* Contribute to the department's high expectations and track record of success in examinations at all levels.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Qualifying as a History Teacher this year and seeking induction year support in a Good School.
* A genuine passion for History with the ability to adapt and motivate students through respectful leadership.
* Willingness to teach History up to Key Stage 4.

You will be working closely with the experienced Head of Humanities who oversees the department with integrity and professionalism. The Humanities department, in particular the History team, will fully support you in settling into the school. This department has a track record of success and high expectations and standards.
