Tetra Tech, a global leader in high-end consulting and engineering services, is partnering with Hays Recruitment to hire Senior to Associate level Electrical Engineers for their Building Services team in Belfast. This expert team deliversprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering solutions, providing design and installation services across a range of sectors including Healthcare, Education,mercial, and Defence. With a long-standing presence in Northern Ireland, Tetra Tech has a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects throughout the region.
Your new role
In this role, you will lead and deliver multiple medium to large-scale projects, epassing all facets of electrical engineering design within consultancy services. Responsibilities include:
1. Delivering electrical services designs across a range of sectors from concept through topletion
2. Producing detailed design calculations, reports, plant schedules, and specifications
3. Developing design drawings from concept to detailed design
4. Conducting site surveys and installation inspections
5. Ensuringpliance with construction health and safety regulations
6. Mentoring and guiding junior and intermediate engineers
7. Inputting into fee estimates and bid processes
8. Supporting directors with resource planning and team workload management
What you'll need to succeed
9. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
10. Chartered Engineer status or working towards
11. Healthcare experience is highly desirable
12. Strong project management skills across the full project lifecycle
13. Excellentmunication and client-facing skills
14. Ability to build and maintain client relationships
15. Leadership qualities and team development experience
16. Expertise in electrical engineering and sustainable design
17. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Relux, Dialux, Amtech, NBS, and Microsoft packages
18. Valid UK Driving Licence
