This role sits within the Operational Finance Service and reports to the Finance Manager for the Social Care & Health Directorate. You will manage two accountants and two finance officers, supporting and developing a committed team.
We are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant (Team Manager) to support the Social Care & Health Directorate, following the promotion of one of our current postholders.,
* A professional accountancy qualification with substantial post-qualification experience
* Experience of leading social care finance in a public sector setting
* Strong team leadership skills
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills

This is a permanent, full-time post (37 hours per week) at Scale O (£52,726 - £54,769 at 2025/26 rates, 2026/27 pay award pending), including a £4,500 per annum market supplement until at least 30 June 2027.
