Your responsibilities
* Create grid connection solutions for solar, wind, and battery storage projects from design to execution across Europe.
* Contribute to the development and realization of renewables projects, focusing on grid connection and substation topics.
* Conduct engineering assessments to define technical specifications, designs, drawings, scope for contracting, and CAPEX requirements.
* Understand British engineering norms, standards, legislation, and regulations related to electrical systems and grid operation.
* Engage with DNO/TNOs to secure and develop grid connections.
* Define and oversee external engineering services and scope of technical contracts.
* Use engineering applications such as Powerfactory and AutoCAD.
* Provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvement in all areas.
* Enjoy flexible working arrangements, including remote work and office locations in the UK and across Europe.
Your profile
* University Degree in Electrical Engineering (vocational qualifications and practical experience are considered).
* Strong experience in electrical grid engineering.
* Solution-oriented, able to make high-quality decisions.
* Creative, open-minded, with a good sense of humor.
* Fluent in English.
* Independent and a team player.
