Job Responsibilities
* Provide compassionate and personalised support to clients in their daily activities.
* Support clients in accessing community resources and activities.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and support plans.
* Promote independence and empower clients to make choices.
* Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
* Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience in a support worker role or similar position.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and client needs.
* Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication.
