We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Scotland construction business aligned with a high profile heritage project in Paisley
Location: Glasgow, Paisley
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
What will you be responsible for?
As Project Manager you will be working with the team to drive the project ensuring, safety, quality, adherence to programme and client interface.
Your core remit will include:
* To take overall responsibility for implementation of Kier's SHE policies and procedures ensuring that all employees, subcontractors comply with all relevant policies and procedures.
* To act as mentor, line manager and escalations point for site teams, share knowledge and experience to help develop others.
* To act as client point of contact to develop excellent working culture with representatives from various external bodies to promote ongoing relationships and facilitate ongoing opportunities for Kier.
* Promote Kier's values towards our supply chain and customers in order to exceed expectations and support them in achieving industry leading results.
* To provide technical advice and input into construction challenges bringing supply chain together to resolve effectively.
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Manager is great for you if:
* Significant experience in overseeing delivery on construction projects of significant value.
* Demonstrable experience of managing project budgets and programmes, taking early intervention to ensure these are maintained in the face of changes.
* Expert knowledge of delivery under NEC and JCT contract conditions
* Experience of using ASTA Power Project or Microsoft Project.
* Analytical & problem-solving skills, ability to identify and mitigate project risks with a keen eye for detail and quality
