GSL Education are seeking to appoint Food Technology Teacher to work at a Client Secondary School located approximately 15 miles north of York, North Yorkshire starting as soon as possible.

Food Technology Teacher Responsibilities:
* Delivering interactive lessons for KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum.
* Incorporating theoretical aspects of food technology, including food science, nutrition, and hygiene.
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching materials and schemes of work.
* Assessing and providing constructive feedback to students to aid their progress and achievement.
* Create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Food Technology Teacher Requirements:
* A teaching qualification, namely a PGCE or a B.Ed. with QTS in Food Technology or Hospitality/Catering/Food Science.
* Have recent experience teaching at the secondary school level.
* Passionate about teaching Food Technology along with a strong command of the subject.
* Strong interpersonal skills and classroom behaviour management - although children are generally well behaved in the school.
* Are a committed and reflective professional who strives for continued improvement.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one with GSL Education.
