Part of the Global Energy Service Holding Ltd group, our Port of Nigg and Scaffold & Access divisions are currently recruiting an enthusiastic HSE Advisor to join our HSEQ team.
Job Purpose & Objective
The HSE Advisor is responsible for providing HSE support to the Port of Nigg and Scaffold & Access business divisions. Acting as the PTW issuing authority ensuring co-ordination and control of Port of Nigg Permits, compliance, audits and related inspections.
The HSE Advisor will also be part of the overall HSEQ team for the GESH group, ensuring alignment to HSEQ group strategy and governance.
Areas of Responsibility: -
* Acting as the PTW issuing authority
* Health & Safety and related governance
* Audit and HSE associated certification
* Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of preventative measures
Key Accountabilities: -
* To manage and support the HSE team for Port of Nigg and Scaffold & Access.
* Carrying out HSE tours, assisting Head of Group HSEQ Manager with incident investigations, writing reports and making recommendations.
* Delivery of the Port of Nigg Induction and assisting in developing project specific inductions
* Manage and monitor ISO standards (9001, 14001, and 45001) and internal audits
* Coordinating and interacting with other business units as required by the Head of Group HSEQ Manager.
* To ensure compliance needs are achieved/exceeded, within client/customer expectations and all relevant governmental regulations.
* To ensure all HSE data and statistics are maintained and reviewed in line with HSE and company policy/processes.
* To ensure accurate data management of HSE Management System
Experience, Qualification and Attributes: -
* NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum requirement)
* Internal Auditor qualification or experience conducting ISO audits
* Proven experience in Safety, Health and Wellbeing roles
* IT Literacy (MS office suite, use of databases/bespoke systems)
