Our People Insights team partners the Business and People & Culture (HR) Business Partners to connect our people data to business strategy, analysing people and workforce data to test hypotheses, identify risk and opportunity, and provide action-oriented recommendations to key decision makers, creating value.
The Workforce Management Professional: People Insights role is a key element to this, providing regular reporting to stakeholders, and analysis to support business priorities.
This role is vital in translating data into compelling stories and insights.
What you’ll be doing
* Track Workforce Metrics: Monitor and analyse key workforce metrics to identify trends and issues. Create comprehensive workforce reports and visualizations using pre-defined templates, tools, and technologies.
* Deliver Insights to Key Decision Makers: Provide ad-hoc workforce analysis, including insights on representation, talent, succession, and skills, to support senior leadership and People & Culture Partners (P&CPs) in decision-making and addressing complex business challenges.
* Support Workforce Planning: Assist the in-unit workforce planning team and the broader People & Culture function with analysis on workforce trends, potential risks, and opportunities.
* Ensure Data Integrity: Collect and consolidate workforce data to maintain accuracy and integrity, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
* Participate in Cross-Functional Teams: Engage in cross-functional teams within an agile People & Culture organization, contributing expertise to projects beyond primary specialization to deliver value across multiple HR domains.
* Manage Data and Initiatives: Oversee the collection, design, and optimization of organizational data and initiatives. Effectively communicate insights to key stakeholders, including senior leaders, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and trade unions, to inform decision-making.
* Perform Deep-Dive Analyses: Conduct in-depth analyses on specific workforce issues or trends, providing insights and recommendations to support in-unit People & Culture teams with planning and decision-making.
The skills & experience you'll need
* Advanced Excel Skills: Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
* Experience with Google BigQuery or SQL is a plus.
* Data Analysis / Data Storytelling: Collects and interprets data in order to uncover patterns and trends. Models data with the aim of supporting the decision-making process and effectively communicates insights from a dataset using narratives and visualisations.
* Stakeholder Management: Organises, monitors, and improves relationships with stakeholders across the business
* Commercial Acumen: Possesses knowledge of critical business concepts relevant to the business unit and demonstrates the ability to use deep business knowledge to inform decision-making.
* Data Dashboards: Tracks, analyses, and displays key performance indicators, metrics, and data points.
* Data Modelling / Data Quality: Creates a data model for the data to be stored in a database. Employs processes, methods, and technologies to ensure the quality of the data meets specific business requirements.
